ABOUT US:
We live on 6 and a half rolling acres in Southwest Ohio and have been breeding dogs for 10 years and showing for five years. The biggest single reason I got started in this endeavor is my little petstore Bichon, Kaytee. She's twelve years old now and suffers from many health issues because of unethical backyard breeding. I love her dearly and will keep caring for her for the rest of her life, no matter the cost financially or emotionally. However, if I can do my small part in preventing others from going through the same anguish, then I've accomplished my mission. We started with Bichons and my husband fell in love with the Havanese so now we have both breeds. They are very much alike as far as temperament....both are lovable little clowns. They dearly love their people and, in fact, think they are people. They are also both nonshedding breeds. We breed to the AKC breed standard and only to better each breed.
We are passionate about our "furkids" and love talking with you whether you want to give one of our precious little ones a home, or you just are gathering information so you can make a wise choice. Please ask lots of questions of any breeder from whom you are thinking about purchasing a puppy. They should provide you with copies of all health certifications. Don't just take their word for it. Please visit their home and be certain that they keep their dogs as part of their family and not shut in cages twenty-four hours a day. This is a life time committment, so please choose carefully. You might spend a little more money initially when you buy from a reputable breeder, but you will spend much more in vet bills over the life time of your pet if you buy a puppy that develops numerous health problems.
